The furnishing of the Paris Opera House is on auction. A chandelier is also on sale, which once caused a mysterious accident. As soon as the are lights brighten, the Opera is in its pride again, and recalls the memories of the great love between Raul, the romantic young Viscount, and Christine, the beautiful talented singer. However, there is another mysterious third party, who does everything to impede their happiness. He is the Phantom of the Opera living in the Opera’s underground labyrinth. Nothing stops him and he uses every means to get Christine’s love.
But who is this Ghost? A genius, a scientist, an inventor, a passionate lover or a horribly deformed murderer? This is the story of this fantastic, spectacular musical.
The composer of the world famous musical is Andrew Lloyd Weber, who –upon seeing the Budapest performance of his other musical the “Cats”- allowed the “non replica” performance of the “Phantom of the Opera”, i.e. a completely new staging.
